Hugh Laurie’s performance as “Dr. Gregory House” has gathered him two Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.

Dr. House is a serial about medicine and mysteries.Gregory House is a medical genius and he has a young team of diagnosticians. The team using The Socratic Method and Differential Diagnosis.The stories usually follow the scientific method: The team thinks up possibilities based on the evidence and then tests them, eliminating the ones that don’t pass the tests until they come up with a theory that works. Or as Sherlock Holmes said, “When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”

Dr.House is cynic,arrogantly,misanthropist a very difficult person,sinful,who walk hard because a problem to a leg but…he is a brilliant doctor and who knows maybe his character may hide a heart of gold.

With the fall television schedule in full swing, many of us are back in the habit of plopping down in front of the tube at night to catch the latest installment of our favorite show when it’s scheduled to air. I’ve decided to write about Californication as season 2 is to begin filming next month, April 2008, and will be released this summer. I also find the controversies it raised quite interesting; it got sued by Red Hot Chilly Peppers because the name of the series coinciding with the name of one of their albums; several organizations boycotted the series because of its content (bringing a massive pull off from advertisers after the pilot episode).
The series was created by Tom Kapinos and leading star is David Duchovny. Californication’s plot follows Hank Moody (David Duchovny), a troubled writer, as he moves to Los Angeles. His job problems and the taste for beautiful women complicate relations with ex-girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin).
