A site from which you can download episodes of TV shows for free, TVFreeload.com hosts over 10000 titles. This site has more than 1000 free TV shows. The site is extremely easy to use. On the main page you can see thumbnails for the most popular TV shows such as Lost, Prison Break, 24, C.S.I. and so on. These thumbnails are links to the download pages for the shows. Besides, there are simple A-Z indexes of all the TV shows that you can download.

Once you click on one of the thumbnails, you are taken to the download page of that particular show. There you get the option to download directly or from their forum. However, you have to register to be able to download free TV shows or watch free TV online. I clicked on the link for Lost. On clicking on the direct download link, I was taken to the registration page.

Finally I went back to the download page and clicked on the link to download from their forum. I got to the forums registration page without any trouble and, and the process was free and instantaneous. After that I got to the page where there were links to all the episodes. For each episode there are usually several links. Not all of them work, but usually one at least will do.

I downloaded Episode I from the gigasize link. The download was fast and there were no problems. With some shows you can also watch online streaming TV shows. However, the quality will depend on your connection speed.

I’ve decided to write about Californication as season 2 is to begin filming next month, April 2008, and will be released this summer. I also find the controversies it raised quite interesting; it got sued by Red Hot Chilly Peppers because the name of the series coinciding with the name of one of their albums; several organizations boycotted the series because of its content (bringing a massive pull off from advertisers after the pilot episode).
The series was created by Tom Kapinos and leading star is David Duchovny. Californication’s plot follows Hank Moody (David Duchovny), a troubled writer, as he moves to Los Angeles. His job problems and the taste for beautiful women complicate relations with ex-girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin).
